This guide is intended to give you an understanding of the short cut keys available to facilitate speedy entry of your daily changes both product and cash. Although PDMS is a fully Windows progam, we have maintained keyboard functionality as it is quicker for data entry than having to click with the mouse. Both styles are available and it is just a matter of preference which you use.
After clicking into your selected Rounds Customer listing screen these are the short cut keys available:
Spacebar – In and Out of the Order changes screen
Plus Key (+) – Moves to next customer (when in order changes screen)
Minus Key (-) – Moves back to previous customer (when in order changes screen)
F3 – toggles current week and standing order
F5 – places cursor into URN search box(Goto) to jump to selected customer
F8 – opens cash payment entry screen
X(top right corner) – pressing this on any screen brings you back to the previous one
(>) – the key with this symbol and the full stop moves you forward one week
(>) – the key with this symbol and the comma moves you back one week
